I have never advocated isolationism. I advocate non-interventionism. I have always advocated free trade and free cultural exchange. These two areas helped build the US into a soft-power superpower. Unfortunately, our interventionist policies in conflicts and other nation’s affairs has damaged our reputation abroad and has cost us too much “blood and treasure.”
