So I downloaded Proto Man (Endless Maze DLC is also available, I didn't bother with it...yet) and...damn. Now THIS is hard mode.
Proto Man has no story scenes, and yes he can charge and slide. But he can't go to the shop, so no screws are in the levels, and msot notable is that HE TAKES DOUBLE DAMAGE.
I've beaten a couple of levels with him so far, but Wily's fortress is going to be a bitch.
