Hey, I guess sometimes politically correctness goes too far: If someone made fun of a person with down syndrome, he would be a very lowly being, but when someone says to a "normal" (in the CrashMan msg not even real, just hypothetical) person that he behaves like a down person, no insult is meant towards down people, but towards people that despite not having psychic handicaps behave as if they had. I understand it's a borderline situation that may hurt most sensitive people, but no insult to people less lucky than us is normally meant.
BTW my mother had a cousin with down syndrome that had a developed sense of humour and he was even capable of make funny jokes about his situation (for example he made fun of his grandpa, a doctor, that had him visited by a psychiatrist and he said that who indeed needed one was the grandpa himself).
