Just because something has been unchecked in the past doesn't mean it should go unchecked when it is noticed. If you saw this problem previously then you should have reported it so a mod could deal with it. I'm not perfect and I have myself gone off-topic occasionally, if someone points it out to me though I don't complain about it happening in other threads I just get back on the topic or leave the thread. I'm not issuing warnings or anything even close to that, I'm just asking people to stick to the topic..not that big of a request really.
If you want to continue this discussion I'd be happy to, but please PM me so we don't go off-topic.
edit: Also, I will point out that any of these other issues can be made into their own topics, I'm not trying to prevent them from being talked about, only to prevent them from detracting from the discussion on this issue.
