I was trying to pirate the new version of Nero as for whatever reason the old version I had would not let me use Nero Scout and stream stuff to my PS3. I was using WMP, but the ability to transcode files on the fly was too good to pass up.
The new Nero requires you to have separate serials for separate aspects of the program (BS if you ask me, just price gouging), so I was looking for a serial for Nero MediaHome (which came bundled with the old versions, but not the new ones...). So I downloaded a keygen from what I knew wasn't the most reliable place, but I figured what is the worst that can happen.
Nothing too weird has happened yet, but everytime I navigate through folders an icon pops up that I have to X out. It looks like a Windows icon too.
I already ran Adware and Spybot and have not fixed it yet. I am running Spysweeper right now. Its more thorough, so hopefully it will catch it. Otherwise I might have to reformat...
