i pass three years in college, now it's my first year in university. (it's not the same system here in Quebec)

What's the difference between college and university?

College comes before University. It's kind of like a stop gap between compulsary education and university. In the UK, atleast, college is publically run which means it's paid for by taxes.

Ah, OK, that's why I didn't understand, here in Argentina we don't have that bridge, when you end your secondary education you have the choice, if you wanna go to a public university (free), you take a one-year course where you have subjects relative to the career you chose plus two mandatory, and then you enter the university. If you wanna go to a private (paid) I don't know what happens, it varies between institutions

here we have high school then college then university, for some programs you can get a job right after college but for others like mechanical engineering you need an extra 4 years of university and 75% of what you will learn there won't be usefull when you start working. university is a bit harder then college because you learn more in less time but the gap is not like the one between high school and college, in high school i never even red a book and i had to learn how to read in college lol french is so damn hard, also the college system is unique to quebec in canada the rest of the country uses the same system as the US

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.
