I have to say it would be interesting to see what a Palin presidency could look like.
Statistically, McCain has a 18% probability of dying during his first term. That's assuming he's as healthy as the average 72-year old, which might not be the case due to his cancer.
Let's say they currently have a 30-40% chance of winning the election. This means a 5-7% chance of Palin being president in the next four years. If McCain is less healthy than the average 72-year old, the probability is even more than that.
