I don't *hate* Sony. I owned PSOnes, the PS2 and a PSP. My PS2 gave up on me after more than 2 years of service, but I'm not upset because it was one hell of a ride. I actually have a soft spot for Sony (and underdogs, and Sony is the underdog now).
But the company stance on the PS3 alienated me. I felt they were arrogant. They took guys like me for granted-- me having bought previous versions they think I'll automatically buy the latest one.
