My favourite things about the USA (Texas specifically):

- Being arrested for walking on the pavement/sidewalk (nothing suspicious, just because it is unheard of to walk long distances)

- Having politically coloured judges (WTF is a Republican judge? The law is meant to be fair and nonpartisan...)

- Electoral college - people are OK with a candidate gaining a majority of the popular vote but losing.

- School buses stopping ouside people's houses - it was a 5min. journey to school but it took an hour and a half because of this, often in 100 degrees Fahrenheit with no air conditioning.

- It being possible to buy guns in a supermarket (Walmart) - the video games were better protected by security and locks than the guns were.

- Apparent separation of church and state but schoolchildren must say Pledge of Allegiance.

- Drive-through ATMs. They're funny all by themselves.

This is the only one I disagree with. Who really cares?
