I think both the democrats and the republicans should create two new splinter groups, so we can have more than a two party system....actually after two seconds of thinking that is a terrible idea. If the republican group did split into fiscal hawks on one side and a platform based on social conservatism and evengelical pandering on the other side, the evengelical party would clobber the other three fractured parties in any US election and we'd be living in a theocracy, and that never ends well.
