Yes, the patch improved the 360 version, but the PS3 was still better. That's something I know I CANNOT get that with the 360 version while DLC such as Mehrune's Razor was included with the Knights of the Nine included with the PS3 version. I'm more than happy logging over 265 hours in the game. This whole thread is about opinion so I'll just leave it a that. |
According to Bethesda, the two render EXACTLY the same after the patch. I can't account for your personal observation as I don't know what your environment was (TV makes/models, video cables used, etc.), but I will take the software publisher's word on this one. Perhaps you should tell people that you believe the PS3 rendering was better based on your own experimentation, instead of stating that the PS3 version was simply better than the 360 version. Otherwise, you're propagating the same sort of "opinion" of superiority that bothers you when applied to the 360/PS3 libraries.
Don't get me wrong... I agree with much of what you say in your posts, and they tend to be well reasoned and well stated (well, in my opinion, anyway
), but I guess it bothers me to hear someone state "the PS3 version of Oblivion is better than the 360 version", just as it bothers you to hear people say the 360 library is "better".
