How can the "2 GC duct-taped together" live up to "TEH CELLZ"

I have a question. Why are we discussing this? The character models look great but the environments look so bad. And the enemy designs, I hate to say it, are a bit cheesy. But the guns look really interesting.

 

... I hope you'll at least try the final product on your TV. Maybe your opinion on the environments/textures will change. >_>
