That does look incredible, I just want them to announce something about the EU release before I get too excited

To be fair, looking at how Star Ocean 3 debuted, there wasn't much of a pause between the North American and European release. There was only a 1 month difference (August 31st to October 1st) between them.

However, the damning thing for Star Ocean, was that Till the End of Time launched a full year and a half earlier in Japan than in the West. The friggin' directors cut was already out for 8 months in Japan before it came to North America.

Fortunately, though, SO3 did seem to do very well in the West, and with Square's new "Publish it worldwide" push between IU and TLR, I think we should expect a release date around March or April 09 in the west, to capture the typcal March/April gaming push.

Actually, I think this more because of Microsoft than their own will. Most games released on the 360 are released in the 3 regions at about the same time. I think Microsoft encourage them to do so. We can see for example Tales of Vesperia that got released in the same month in North America and Japan while Tales of Symphonia 2 will release in december in North America while it has been out for a long time in Japan. The same will happen with FFXIII that gets released in Japan long before it gets to our side of the Pacific.
