| Torillian said: Payton had more influence on the game then some in here will want to admit, but the kicker is that he was an influence in bringing some western concepts into MGS4, and that is where he excelled. Halo already has Western ideals out the wazoo so I'm unsure what he's going to bring to the big table other than a name they can tote, unless they are looking for some Eastern ideas that Payton may have picked up while over there. |
He is not credited anywhere hence he had no involvement in "bringing some western concepts into MGS4" unless that means a western language (english) that has been in the western version of MG(S) games since 20 years ago.
Thinking about it though, maybe once, while he was on the toilet chair doing his thing, he was talking to Kojima('s translator) on the phone and mentioned that it would be nice to have X as enter as opposed to 0, and that's about all the involment he could've had regarding any sort of western concepts (whichever those are (?!) considering that the over the shoulder view is RE4 inspired and the "moving while in First Person" was already present in MGS2:S VR).
