for me, i didnt play video games until i first came to Canada, video games aint tht big in Fiji when i use to live there
i remeber, it was 8-9 years ago i played the DREAM CAST for the first time and the game was House of Dead or something like tht. good times, gun controller was unique
then i remeber my bro got N64, good ole times in Mario Kart Racing, loved N64
but then i got the Ps2 at age 8. and my first game for tht was GTA Vice City (so close to beatin it, my bro gave it away 
) and i've been loving video games since then
