So my PS3 did a new trick today, it showed that my DS3 is not the only one that likes rumble. So today, I turned on my PS3 and to my surprise, my PS3 started to "vibrate." When I touch it, it feels the same as it normally does (like machinery going on) but a little more powerful. I can even hear it vibrating, although it only lasts for like 10 seconds. I'm pretty sure it's the fan since I can kind of hear it, especially since I have the LOUDEST PS3 FAN ever, IDK if my house is too hot (it usually is very hot, get complaints from friends all the time) or that my PS3's fan is on it's last legs and about to crap out on me. When I'm playing for a certain amount of time (maybe like 1 hour or 2) and my house is hot, my PS3 sounds like a jet plane is about to take off.

WOW...OK, Im downloading something from the store right now and it's on XMB, and as I speak, the fan just got louder, and it's not even hot in my house right now. It's on the floor and there is nothing near it, its on horizontal so the vents are not closed off. All my friends that have a PS3 say that their PS3 practically makes No noise, and I keep my PS3 much more ventilated than theirs.....Is this me being paranoid or is this really the signs of a failing fan? I REALLY don't want to call Sony for 2 reasons, This is a 60gb launch PS3 and since it is launch, Sony's warranty ran out (and soon so will my Toys R Us warranty).

Forgot to mention, my PS3 spews out a ridiculous amount of heat, which leads to my house getting hot. I've noticed that with my PS3 off, it feels like a 5 degrees (F) cooler. I know that that's normal, but I don't think that it supposed to give off THAT much heat, it gets louder to cool it from all the heat that IT gives out!
