Brings it right into line with the iTouch/IPhone IMO. Its the potential "DS app store" + DS channels that is the real advancement. Camera is nice as well - especially if they launch some form of "friends list" and video conferencing software.
PSP isn't too far either - but while its missing a touch screen, IMO its not in the same league.
Really surprised by the change in battery life - I think there is some "hidden" secret to the DSi we don't know about yet. The larger screen wouldn't dent the battery THAT much (I'd rather have the old screen & more battery!) - its something else - like WiFi always being active, or some new chip/CPU in it.
The last thing they really need in the DSi is the ability to "toggle" between an application and the OS - so you can pause a game, jump to the OS, check your email/change music, then jump back into the game.
Wonder if they have added a 2nd CPU for the purpose of running the OS/camera (unlikely) - might explain the change in battery if they have.
