I have played the demos for LIVE and Inside 09 so far. LIVE is the winner by far of these two and I was extremely impressed with all the different kinds of seamless animations. Players no longer float around the court and players movements were very natural. Its really easy to defend and call plays on offense and the opening menu is even fun too. you get to start shooting baskets with others players on your team in a practice situation on the court and then again while the full game loads in the background for a short time.
Haven't played 2k9 yet, but Live appears to be a very strong contender this year. I may even pick up my first simulation style basketball game in a long, long time. For now make sure to check out both demos on the PSN and see for yourself.
