| bigjon said: Funny, that is what I see Obama do to every question. Most of the time he answers it from every angle and both sides. He sounds like he is quoting from a textbook. I know this sounds cliche... But Obama is just book smart, Palin definitly has more common sense, just right now she is lacking someone the technical knowledge required to look smart in an interview. Seriously, have you heard some of his off the cuff answers? He thinks the U.N. should pass a resolution against Russia.... Just stupid. The only difference is that the media did not drag that throw the mud like they have the Palin interview. Ps- If you don't know why it is stupid for Obama to say that the UN should pass a resolution against Russia look it up in your 7th grade civics book.

Common sense? I don't think so, sorry. Someone with common sense wouldn't be saying she has foreign policy experience because she lives near Russia (she's never even been there or provided any evidence that she had negotiations with them). If this is what passes for common sense, that's very scary.
Regarding Obama vs Palin, Obama has at least shown that he can perform an analysis of a subject. I haven't seen anything from Palin resembling a rational analysis. To answer a question, she brings up all sorts of tangential points into a mish-mash of material which is barely related to the matter at hand.
Watching Palin's adventures in this campaign is like watching a train crash in slow motion, just funnier. Let's see how this goes in the next few days.
