I agree. I can only assume it is spring time and the granular snow/ice will just eat through your skin at speed if you fall. At least one of them is smart enough to wear gloves. That kind of snow would also chew through the spandex-lycra bikinis they are wearing. ;) Of course they don't seem to be going fast either way, so it doesn't really matter.
