errr a while back I read someone saying MS could go with HD DVD cause the tech is there and the price will be ridiculous as it's not used anymore.... That made sense as it would have given a larger disc size for low manufacturing costs.
BR is surely attractive, but anyone that doesn't see it as one of the main reasons for Sony's failure to follow the PS1 and PS2 domination is willingfully blind... is a BR drive is at a $30-50 cost on the market then yeah sure... otherwise it'll be too much of a dead weight to carry for the next Xbox
