1---buy a nice parcel of land in a low risk environment---that way you don’t have to worry about, storms, floods, earthquakes, wild fires
2—build a self sustaining environment that can care for at least 20-30 people but does not need that many to survive
3—fortification---high sturdy walls, moats, torrents, and a grid of replaceable but easily mapped explosives
4—armaments---now that you have a self sustaining and easy defended community make sure you have the means to defends it
Then wait until the country collapses and move a few of your friends and family in, bam you safe for generations to come and will have a place of power
Or if zombies attack you can hold out until you can find a cure, or they rot enough to no longer be a threat
