The comments that shooters cannot have good stories is laughable. One of my favourite stories in gaming so far is the Halo trilogy. I love Sci fi and thought Halo was up there with the best of TV series and films.
OT: I didnt think Gears 1 was to bad for story. It told enough and it was obvious more story would come out in 2 and 3. I really cant wait for this game now. I just wanna be immersed in this game. I am getting a new Surround sound Amp for my set up, so it will be Gears 2, 360, 1080p tv (Panasonic 30,000:1, 0.001ms response time) and Dolby 6.1 surround. That will be friggin awesome.
