Not saying all formats, I'm talking about songs themselves not codecs. Using a gaming platform as a medium for playing music is still an unknown as far as profitablity as mos PSP owners use other means than paying for their songs to get them. With that logic I could assume that Nintendo would be placed in the position of purchasing rights to the songs or however the contract would place a group or singular song or band or however. Competition would easily arise and Nintendo would have to create a service that allows for the stable download of these musics, Nintendo channel is not as demanding as a music outlet of that magnitude as far as human resources.

No if Nintendo ever went the route of music playback and download on the DS it would be done in a way that could not be easily mimiced and this is outside of direct business decisions and more hardware, and I'm not reffering to simply interaction. Something more integral with he music function and the user.

However I highly doubt their is a new DS as Iwata, Shigeru and Reggie don't seem to know if one is in development or they haven't heard of one in development, maybe someone else is making one? ^_^ (sarcasm)

I'm Unamerica and you can too.
