I normally hate these debates. But I will point out that although you state R2 is doing more onscreen, Far Cry 2's draw distance is a hell of alot more. If anything Far Cry 2's engine is processing more, better physics (blasts from grenades extra effect the environment spot on) Realistically behaving fire, Changing weather effects, night and day cycles(which means constant real time light changes, R2 is preloaded levels) 10km draw distance, all whilst looking photo realistic.

This following Direct Feed trailer should provide an end to this arguement. To let you know there is no CGI in Far Cry 2.
