mrstickball don't be in denial.

its still happening.

many of the people i know got rrod.
and then the replacement unit got rrod a month later .

its not a huge as before 30% but its still should be around 10%.

i believe the new jasper will bring it down to 5%-10% but its not going to disappear til a total redesign happen.

Jo21,

Care to offer any evidence concerning RROD with Falcon units? Considering your a diehard Playstation 3 fan, I find it hard to believe your going to post here, acuse me of being in denial and then offer no real evidence other than vague anecdotal musings from your friend.

I posted a very strong argument for the fact that RRODs among Falcon and newer are on a major decline from older Xenon and refurbed Xenons.

So if you could, to prove I am indeed in denial....Offer some actual evidence. I posted mine. Now post yours. Give us some solid info on MFG dates and batch numbers of your friends RROD experiences. Most Microsoft fans are interested in knowing solid batch numbers that have had RROD, so you could contribute a great deal by giving some good evidence about Falcon RROD issues.

Otherwise, I have a hard time believing you. I know people that have had RRODs, and obviously this forum is a place to vent RROD fusterations. Yet despite that, I'd love for you to research how many VGC-ers have had Falcon RROD issues. Because last I checked, the tally stood at 0 users that could in any way, produce a batch number that corresponded with Falcon-built units.

@DMeisterJ - As I said in my post, everyone is thinking outside the box when it comes to HDD intergration. You could easily put the HDD somewhere else other than where the current docking station is. I imagine you could easily put it on top of the unit, just above where the current "top" of the system is.

 You tell him mr stickball!
