It isnt clear to me... Of the genuine 'in-game' stuff I have seen so far Far-cry wins. How do you know RES2 is a bettre game than Far-Cry2? Nobody knows that because nobody has played both fully.... nobody!
As far as sales go Farcry 2 will sell well, not that far behond RES2 (due to its multiplatform status) and Gears will blow all of them out of the water.

but surely by gears selling more we wont see a penny of that profit in our back pockets? and by it selling more will not make the game better or worse for the gamer! hence 1 game selling more than another game doesnt matter for someone who plays games for fun, as it wont make 1 iyota of difference to the game.

Normally although you own a PS3 I think your comments are pretty good. (non fanboyish), But this is exactly whats wrong with /vgchartz at the mo. Your accusing people of damage control on a MULTIPLAT game?
It seems to me 360 owners that if you say that any game is better graphically (even when it's obvious) than a first party sony game then you will get flamed. Rediculous. At least the majority agree Far Cry 2. I know the world hasnt gone insane yet.

That is true, but I've seen in many forums (and I think some instances in this one) where an xbox fanboy will ridiculously praise a multi plat game's graphics just to down play an exclusive that is on the competing console. Especially the whole "its running on the 360" aspect makes it seem like "it looks this good on MY console...IDk about urs." I'm not saying that this is wat ur doing, but I've seen it being done thats y im guessing that Skeeuk said that.
