Are graphics really that important?

GFX are super important.... for younger gamers it seems....

and i'm only 27 so....

But seriously, I enjoy great trailers and all... and playing in a nice environement, but the best games are often the ones that didn't spend all their budget on graphic designers and CGI...

a leap in graphics is equal to a step in gameplay or creativity for game quality.


and about the comment of identical games with improved graphics (nes vs PS3), you have to consider the price... new wii games are often €50 or even 40, while HD consoles have them at 70 or 60.... i'm sorry but you pay a hefty premium for the little extra...
