Bigojon, thats what is supposed to happen in the interviews. Its not as if O'Rielly took it super easy on Obama. The fact is, she needs to stop defending this and give an intelligent answer. Don't defend the "I live close to Russia". Don't fail to make sense when talking about Israel (she contradicted herself totally), and make a little sense when talking about world events. Thats all. Plus, asking her about what she said earlier is only fair.
Second, you said on the first interview that the last question was unfair. Isn't the McCain camp supposed to giver her practice in this stuff before she goes on air? Isn't she supposed to know answers to these questions or at least the campaing's talking points? Its not Couric's fault.
These questions were what you would normally expect from a non softball interview.
