Finished playing the campaign earlier this week; have to say I enjoyed the pacing and plot of Warhead much more than Crysis. Sykes was a more interesting protagonist than Nomad IMO. He felt like a real character, rather than a faceless autonomaton.
Shorter, yes, but this was actually beneficial. Parts of Crysis kind of lagged in my opinion.
Beginning to think I'd rather have extended chapters released on a more frequent basis, rather than full length games every few years.
From a technical standpoint, it unquestionably performs better on the same hardware with the drawback of object pop in.
I'll have to play it again with a 4870, but I found it quite playable with a 9600GT.
