It looks like EA is going for a more casual Madden experience on the Wii (complete with minigames) and a hardcore indepth experience on the other next gen systems. It should be interesting to see which Madden fans decide on.

How the hell does voice chat make Madden more "hardcore"?

When the hell did Madden get listed as "hardcore" in the first place? Isn't that an oxymoron?

I never said that voice chat makes Madden more "hardcore". It's the fact that they excluded features in the game to make room for casual gaming elements in the Wii version that makes it more casual.

I did originally have a comment about voice chat missing from the Wii version of the game (which it is) but removed it because it had nothing to do with the hardcore/casual statement I was making.

What features do the Xbox 360/PS3 version have that the Wii version doesn't (It's not that I don't believe you, but I haven't heard anything of that nature)? As far as I know, the only advancements that the 360 version has in comparison to last year's Madden are better tackle animations, a better hit stick, a modified superstar mode, and an owner mode without the ability to control concession prices. If the Wii version is anything like the PS2 version in terms of features, it should actually have more features than the 360 version.

Anyway, I agree with the consensus of this topic. 360 > PS2 > Wii > PS3.
