Well, I don't know how much world view you get in your diet, but this crisis has been affecting everyone, and is sparking a lot of resentment, and disgust.
Although not quite as bloody or atrocious, it is still a very big deal.
I forget who said it, but it was something like:
"Banks are more dangerous than standing armies."
