I liked Burnout for the most part, I just hated how every time I wrecked the car I had to sit through 10 seconds of a physics demo I couldn't skip. It's stupid crap like that that makes me put down a good game.

So don't play Burnout then >_>

You already bought it, Criterion doesn't care

I already sold it back though because I thought I was going to get trophies for the things I had already done.  :-p

...............................

How exactly did you think you were going to download the trophy patch without having the game to start with ?

I was going to borrow it from a friend during lunch one day.  I don't mind popping it in just to download a patch but I hated the crash sequences and just having to sit through short unskippable cut scene after short unskippable cut scene.

Why would you think that?  All trophy patched games will require a new game save to earn the trophy.  This is the only way to prevent people from downloading game saves just to unlock the trophy.  Perhaps Kotaku could just publish one big negative PS3 article that details this fact and be done with it.

Edit: I guess Criterion promised they would be retroactive.  Don't flame me.

They originally said trophies for Burnout 3 would be retroactive
