I'm no authority on exponential subject matter, but I've been told numerous times that any integer to the 0 power equals one.

My reasoning for this is that the identity property states that a variable * 1 equals 1. With the 0 power the integer is not being multiplied at all, multiple times or otherwise, but 1 can be implied by the identity property.

Once again, I'm not an authority but this is just my input. I can be wrong by any means.
