@Morg: I can understand your point with WiiFit but not really with MK. Why a person that buys MK over TFU should be a newcomer to video games?
Apperently Wii demographic isn't suited that good for TFU. There are games that have more sales on Wii and some others sell better on HD consoles. For example Lego Indiana Jones sold most on the Wii.
