I dont think anything we have seen thus far this year compares with MGS4. It did receive 10/10 from both Gamespot and IGN, so I doubt we will see another one of those this year.
I think Gears 2 will get rated really harshly, but through no fault of its own. Much like many sites were unfair to PS3 games last year, the same thing has been happening to 360 games this year.
I wouldn't be suprised to see many 8/10 for Gears 2, just because the popular thing to do will be rating Resistance 2 higher.
