I agree, if I made a review the final score would only be based around the fun factor, and all other elements (graphics, story, music) will be mentioned in the review of course, but will not alter the final score.
What I don't like from IGN is the use of decimals, what's the difference between 7.9 and 7.8? Why not 8? At least they should use half points, from 7.0 - 7.5 - 8.0 and so on.
