Hmm, this is actually kind of tough. I really enjoy a wide variety of them. If we were to include srpg's I'd have to give nod to Fire Emblem, Disgaea and Final Fantasy Tactics.
For tradtional rpg's I'd likely go with FFVIII
For real time rpg's it'd be a tie between Dark Cloud 2 and Secret of Mana.
