Why does Killzone 2 matter?

Too many people say "Oh, sales will pick up with X game. Then Sony will rule again". I feel many need a wake up call. None of those games are going to push console, expecially Killzone 2. The game is hyped, but that doesn't mean it will push consoles. The hype will make it sell to those who already own a PS3, or would have bought one any way. The only games so far that will push consoles are Wii Fit, Mario Galaxy, Halo 3 and GTA 4. The latter 3 usually all sell over 6million. FF is the only one who has sold over that, and that was on the PS1 and 2's high user base. These game's sales are more dependant on the console.

So the only games that will sell consoles are sequels of big games or a casual game? Gears of War, brand new game that moved 360s and is still the biggest game on the 360.

FF will move systems guaranteed because it's FF. MGS and Killzone 2(if it doesn't disappoint) will move systems because these are big games.
