what battle system did u like the most from a rpg?

as long as the battle system is well implemented, balanced, fun and not too repetitive (ok almost every RPG has sort of repetitive battle system, even if there are loads of skills to be learned, you will always need only few to beat the game)

 

Edit: a game that i really enjoyed its battle system was Grandia 2
