Is Final Fantasy important anymore?

Then why did FFVIII and FFX sell 8M+

Also, FFIX, X-2 and XII with 5M+ is hardly poor sales

FFXIII will sell at least 7M on the PS3/360

 

 

Because games can sell purely on name and not quality.  Seriously, the FF games over the last, what, 10 years have sucked pretty hard.  They only sell because people think they're supposed to think they're awesome.
