I understand that these games are what platformers were in the NES/Genesis/SNES days, in that most major games are going to be in that style. I just want a bit more variety. I'm perfectly fine with FPS/TPS, but the stories being told aren't too unique from another. Alien invasions, space marines and gritty urban settings are way too commonplace. Let's tell a different story, shall we? Having said that, it will probably sell on hype alone. Hell, Red Steel did. |
