If the apocalypse means developers focusing on gameplay instead of graphics then I welcome it.
If I made a list of the prettiest games I have played none of them come from the 7th generation of consoles. I believe we've come to a point where the amount of polygons and particle effects you can push just doesn't matter. I just wish more developers got that through their heads. Give me art style and gameplay over graphics any day.
