Political discussions aside, as I think my definition of what qualifies a voter as "stupid" may differ from others (to each their own), I'd suggest it was impossible for the PS3 to beat the Wii world wide this holiday season.
In fact, I'd posit that it doesn't beat the Wii in one REGION this holiday season. I don't hate the PS3, but I think it's a fair amount of wishful thinking, to believe that LBP and Resistance 2 suddenly increase demand for the much more expensive PS3, over the Wii.
If it wasn't for the performance of the PS3 in others, I don't even know that it will beat the 360 (I'd think that #2 is completely up for grabs). I'd be VERY surprised if the PS3 ran away with the #2 spot the way some are predicting.
