How old is your X360?
In my case, I was completely out of warranty, even for RROD (this was just after, the 1yr warranty, but way before the recent 3yr). Mine was about 4+mo out of warranty. I shoulda paid, but didn't.
I think MS throws in the free stuff w/o reason. I wouldn't worry about RROD issues, just call 'em up. They might have a simple fix, or might just send you a fixed refurb + throw in the MSPs and XBL card.
The points they give you vary, I believe. I got like 200. But I've heard of people getting thousands.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
