Why not try some of the smaller "back to basics" and cheaper games like Braid/Castle Crashers/Geometry wars etc for the Xbox 360 or some good PSN game or some good Wiiware games etc.
Variety is the spice of life and perhaps you just need to pick fewer/better titles because thats how I got into a rut myself by buying too many games without vetting them first to prevent me from playing too much average - same old type crap.
Tease.
