The Apple ads are getting old and played out.

That being said, these new PC ads were a mistake because they're too defensive. By responding to an accusation, you unintentionally lend a shred of credence to that accusation. It shows weakness and reveals that MS sees the Mac ads as a dangerous threat which they cannot ignore.
