Native HD will always be better than up-converted video. (But why would you consider HDDVD now? It's getting "handed to" by Blu-Ray...)
Edit: My friend went out and bought a High End Denon upconverting player and it can't touch the PS3. I felt bad for him knowing what he paid.
It seems the mods need help with this forum. I have zero tolerance for trolling, platform criticism (Rule 4), and poster bad-mouthing (Rule 3.4) and you will be reported.
