How are you assuming that its an unequal experience based upon that small difference in max resolution? Have you played both the versions? Have you felt any significant difference in playability? This thread is a big FAIL

Assuming? ASSUMING!! Holy %&^*&%*( How the hell do you not realize that this is serious??!?! Pixels are the LIFES BLOOD of games. How would you feel if you had 19% of your blood removed?! Damnit, in case you don't get it... The clue is that you wouldn't feel good AT ALL. Check out THIS link from wikipedia about blood loss if you're still confused.

I think we had a similar discussion before regarding GTA4 which also had a lower resolution for the PS3 then the X360. However this difference while not discernible to the naked eye had no impact at all to the actual gameplay and playability of the game between the systems. In fact the PS3 version, if I remember correctly, got slightly higher review scores then the X360 one.

I am just saying that these threads are pointless if you haven't actually played them on both systems, your silly attempt at sarcasm notwithstanding.

Dude! You're completely missing the point. Im not calling the PS3 version inferior. Im trying to make a discussion about why such differences still happen in 2008. Up until now its actually been a pretty reasonable thread, you know technical stuff not semantics until you came in here without even reading it. To make up for being serious im gonna post a funny pic.
