If you didn't like GRID I would skip Dirt all together. It's basically GRID rally style. Brakes will definitely need to be used haha.
I've played a lot of racers on 360 and from your criteria I don't know if there will be anything else on the system that will interest you. The pure arcade style racers you look for seem to be a dying breed.
